I asked my mom what my favorite activity was as a kid. Her response “riding my big wheel down the hill until I wore my shoes out”.

What is your most embarrassing memory?
At MPY? When my head bumped into a woman’s rear while changing positions in Araceli’s yoga class and every time Laura, Jenny, and Nance lift more weights than me in TRX/Bootcamp class. Outside of MPY? Those are locked in the vault.
What is the best vacation you have ever taken?
A tie between bareboat sailing charter in the BVI’s and a Montana Dude Ranch
What makes you laugh out loud?
When my kids say the things that only kids can say. If you’re a parent, you get it.
What accomplishments are you most proud of?
Being a great big brother to my sisters, my continuous efforts to improve as a Dad and husband, being there for others, my world famous chocolate chip pancakes
What advice would you give to your younger self?
The headwinds are temporary. Don’t be so hard on yourself – it’s all going to workout.
What would you like people to remember about you?
That I was a rock – you could always count on me to be there for you.
Why do you practice at Marin Power Yoga?
The people make MPY. The acknowledgment that fitness is a process, a lifestyle, and nobody at MPY judges you for how far along you are on the journey. “You be you” is the expectation.
